How to Connect Your Laptop to the Boardroom TV
We have two options:
1. HDMI cable
2. Wirelessly - see instructions below.
Requirements:
- Laptop with Windows 10 or above installed
- Both laptop and TV must be connected to the same Wi-Fi network (Palisade-Guest).
Instructions:
- Connect to Wi-Fi: Ensure both your laptop and the boardroom TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (Palisade-Guest). This is essential for the casting feature to work seamlessly.
- Select Remote Access: Turn on the TV and press Source on the remote control and select the Remote Access option from the menu.
- Open Action Center: On your laptop, select the notification icon in the bottom right-hand corner of your taskbar.
- Connect to TV: Then, select Connect and complete the connection process by selecting "[TV] NORTH BOARDROOM"
Additional Tips:
- Ensure your laptop and TV are within a reasonable range of the Wi-Fi router for optimal casting performance.
- If experiencing any issues, ensure that both your laptop and the TV are updated with the latest software and firmware respectively.
- If the casting is unsuccessful, try restarting both your laptop and the TV, and then attempt to cast again.
